JIVAMUKTI YOGA LONDON GRAND OPENING WEEKEND WORKSHOPS
With founders, Sharon Gannon and David Life, at the Jivamukti Yoga London Centre.
THURSDAY JULY, 7TH: Cost: £30 GBP
4:30-6:30pm: Jivamukti Open Class
Sharon and David will lead students through a traditionally intense and vigorous Jivamukti class, which incorporates ahimsa, bhakti, meditation, nada and scripture.
FRIDAY, JULY 8TH: Cost: £35 GBP
6:00-8:30pm: Jivamukti Open Class
Sharon and David will lead students through a traditionally intense and vigorous Jivamukti class, which incorporates ahimsa, bhakti, meditation, nada and scripture.
SATURDAY, JULY 9TH: Cost: £35 GBP each class
10:00am-12:30pm: A Class for Busy People with David Life and Sharon Gannon - This class shows busy people how to slow down and get real. A classic Jivamukti Class designed to help you unwind and prepare you to face the world calm and inspired no matter what challenges come your way.
2:00pm-4:30pm: Finding our Balance taught by Sharon Gannon and David Life - The key to balance is generosity. It is our tendency to try to 'hold' our balance that makes it shaky and difficult. This class explores the many ways in which we can manage to maintain a generous heart when faced with challenging circumstances.
From the recently released DVD/CD Library, these classes will be projected on a big screen while Sharon, David, Manizeh, Durga Devi (Denise Teperino-Miret) and Yogeswari (Estelle Eichenberger) gently guide each student, giving hands on adjustments for a deep, nurturing, and multi-dimensional experience.
All 4 classes cost: £125 GBP
Some knowledge of yoga asanas would be helpful.

GUEST TEACHER
JIVAMUKTI YOGA MASTER CLASSES WITH YOGESWARI (ESTELLE EICHENBERGER)

Join renowned Jivamukti Yoga teacher, Yogeswari, from the NYC Jivamukti Center, for a week of vigorous vinyasa classes covering the five tenets of Jivamukti Yoga: Ahimsa (non-violence), Bhakti (devotion), Meditation, Nada Yoga (sound body and mind), and Scripture study.
Yogeswari, one of the foremost senior teachers of Jivamukti yoga, is known internationally for her thought-provoking teachings and her inventive, vigorous Vinyasa. She believes Yoga can illuminate issues of social activism, psychology and ethics, and can direct anyone to peace. A 20-year background in choreography, modern, Caribbean and African dance, as well as ballet and capoeira, enriches her teaching. As founder of AZAHAR, a non-profit organization, Yogeswari promotes cross-cultural understanding and peaceful co-existence through Yoga and art. Born in Switzerland, she holds and MA in Dance, Choreography and Feminist sports psychology from NYU and a BFA Magna cum Laude in Dance from Temple University. GUEST TEACHER
Narayani (Nicole Nichols)

Join fun-loving and popular visiting teacher, Narayani, from the NYC Jivamukti Center, for a week of Jivamukti classes.
Nicole Nichols was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. She received a BA in Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989, and is trained in classical ballet. Nicole has been teaching yoga in New York City since 1995, and in addition to her teacher training at Jivamukti, received a teaching certification from the Urban Yoga Center. She teaches yoga as a spiritual, psychological and physical purification practice that is a means to discovering inner joy and unconditional love.
Nicole has been deeply inspired by the devotional music of Ravi Shankar and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and by the relationship between yoga and sound/music.
She teaches yoga classes with live music and has created workshops for Sony Music and yoga centers throughout New York City. She has had the privilege of working with internationally renowned musicians including Laraaji, Michael Hewett, Peter Fand, and music healer Tom Rossi.
Nicole is grateful to her beloved teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life for their teachings, wisdom, generosity and love, which are a daily source of inspiration; and to Estelle Eichenberger for her loving guidance.

As a devotee and scholar, Bhagavan Das offers an unparalleled perspective of blending Eastern consciousness into the spiritual whirlpool of modern Western life. He is an ecstatic devotional singer and master of Nada Yoga, the mystical practice that explores the nature of reality through sound.
He reaches out to his audiences through kirtan, an improvisational call/response form of chanting commonly practiced in India. Bhagavan Das serves as a guide to identify and celebrate the sacred in our own lives.
